05 Dec Trend Forecasting for 2023: Rosettes
Here at LP we are more than positive that the revival of the flower brooch is owed to non other than the queen of rosettes Ms Carrie Bradshaw. Designers like Acne Studios, Bluemarine, Magda Butrym, Philosophy Di Lorenzo and Saint Laurent to name of few have already proven that rosettes (florals in general) are going to be HUGE in 2023. With help of the Sex and the City (SATC) reboot Just Like That (AJLT), there is no doubt in our minds Carrie Bradshaw was on the 2023 moodboard for every designer that year.
The Inspiration: Carrie Bradshaw
Best part about this trend is you don’t need to break the bank to participate. See below for some of our rosette recommendations and major rosette inspo!
Zara Lace up tied floral mid-height heel leather sandals: $169.00
If wearing a brooch or chocker isn’t your thing, you can take part in this trend by wearing it on your feet! These Zara strappy sandals are an amazing dupe for the Bluemarine pair, they also come in red and can be worn all year round.
Mango Straps body with flower detail: $89.99
This bodysuit is stunning, Definitely Carrie Bradshaw approved.
Magda Butrym Cutout embellished ruched stretch-crepe mini dress: $2,260
This dress is a work of art. Spotted on all the it girl influencers (and more recently Rihanna) this dress is guaranteed to turn heads.
Mango Double twisted flower necklace: $49.99
As we all know, Pink is definitely the color of the season, this pink flower necklace pairs well with dresses, suits, and strapless tops. This is a great way to get in on the trend without spending too much.
Zara Floral Cut Out Dress: $79.90
Such a great Magda Butrym dupe. We would wear this with a red lipstick and white pointy toe pumps, or with sheer black stockings and black patent heels. Possibilities are endless.
Fanci Club Garden of Eden dress: $380.00 (USD)
This romantic Fanci Club dress is all over our Instagram feeds.
Zara Silk blend floral brooch: $17.90
The best part about a brooch is you can do it your way, you can add it to a necklace and make it a chocker, pin it to a blouse or strapless top, or wear it the Carrie way by pinning it on a coat.
